Swing Away Joint	The 200-SAJ is designed for vans, pick-up trucks, sport utility vehicles and station wagons where it is necessary to open the rear of the vehicle. It is important to know if a spare tire is mounted on the back of the vehicle which will affect the length of the lift hitch tube. Frame
At Scooter Lift Manufacturing Company we certify our welders for fabrication Steel framework is painted with a gray hammerstone powder coating which is baked into the steel at 385 degrees for 30 minutes, providing a hard protective coating to each lift.

Rails
Made from 1/8" aluminum which washes easily to keep the new look
Rail systems are easily interchangeable from one lift design to another

Installation
Uses a class 3 receiver hitch (2" inch square hole) NOT PROVIDED WITH LIFT. Hitch can be installed by any welding fabrication shop. Helper springs or air shocks may be needed on some vehicles due to added weight on the back of the vehicle.

Stabilizer Bars
All lifts come with tilt bars to stabilize and balance the load on the lift. This stabilizer also reinforces the strength of the lift while carrying the scooter. The stabilizer bar tilts the scooter slightly toward the rear of the car offering greater ground clearance when entering ascending driveways, etc.
