The single-fold ramp for scooters and all wheelchair types. Designed to bridge the gap over steps, curbs, and raised landings. The 5- & 6-foot Suitcase ramps may be used with most minivans.

Side Door

Folded Position
Designed for quick and convenient access to the minivan side door. The solid full-width design accommodates scooters and wheelchairs. The Van Mount ramp easily installs (using only 3 bolts) to the van floor using the specially designed mounting plate. Ramp is manually operated and lightweight, requiring only 25 pounds of lifting strength. Simply open van door and pull ramp out to extended position.

To determine the necessary ramp length:

1. Determine the incline your chair or scooter is designed to climb. NOTE: Refer to your equipment's owners manual for exact recomendations concerning acceptable usage and inclines. Always operate within these parameters.

2. Measure the distance from the top step or landing to the ground. This is the RISE.

3. Refer to the incline chart below to determine the proper ramp length.

4. At any incline use ramp only with a qualified helper.

It is the responsibility of the customer to measure the opening of the vehicle, height/width of the opening and equipment, and the height of the rise - prior to ordering. This will assure that what you order is ideal for the job at hand, and will cut back on costly returns. Discount Scooters cannot guarantee that a particular ramp will be appropriate for your application. There are too many different combinations of scooters, vehicle years, and models for us to make an accurate determination over the phone - without seeing it first.
